The diplomatic relations between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Singapore were established on June 1, 1968. The joint issue of stamps is dedicated to modern architecture. Zaryadye Park in Moscow and Gardens by the Bay in Singapore were chosen as the subject of the stamps.
Zaryadye Park is a 13-hectare modern park for rest and entertainment in the center of Moscow. The park recreates ecosystems of different regions of the Russian Federation. All cultural and entertainment facilities and new technologies of the park seamlessly blend into the landscape.
Gardens by the Bay, with an area of 101 hectares, is located on the coast of the Marina Bay in central Singapore. The park is known all over the world for its unusual architectural structures - super trees, huge tree-like structures, 25-50 m high. The greenhouse complex of the park consists of two greenhouses - the Flower Dome and the Cloud Forest.
The postage stamps depict Zaryadye Park in Moscow and Gardens by the Bay in Singapore.
