The Coat of Arms of Ivanovo was approved on May 22, 1996. The azure (blue, light-blue) field displays a young woman, who is sitting looking right; she wears a silver shirt with a golden collar, a dark-red (red) pinafore with the top decorated with gold, a dark-red head-band decorated with gold, and a silver headscarf; issuant behind her knees is a golden comb of a spinning wheel with silver tow in her right hand, the spinning wheel stands in front, and she spins the wheel with her left hand.
The postal stamp depicts the Coat of Arms of Ivanovo, the fields of the souvenir sheet display the Coat of Arms of the Ivanovo Region and the map of the Russian Federation.
