Belgorod region was founded on January 6, 1954. It is located in a southwest of Russia. There are 21 administrative districts and 9 cities in the region. Belgorod is the capital of the region, the largest cities are Stary Oskol and Gubkin. The stamp features a monument to prince Vladimir in Belgorod and a memorial to the defenders of the Motherland - a bellfry built on the Prokhorovskoye field. The stamp also features an illustration of iron ore output.

Ivanovo region was founded on january 14, 1929. It is located in the centre of the European part of Russia, between the Volga and the Klyazma. There are 20 administrative districts and 17 cities in Ivanovo. The capital of the region is Ivanovo and the largest cities are Kineshma and Shuya. The stamp features Ivanovo Cotton Museum, the landscape of the region, a truck crane "Ivanovets", a monument composition by A.N.Dushkin and A.M.Tomsky. The stamp also features a stylized picture of Zhar-Ptica, a symbol of Palekh, the native land of famous lacquer miniature.

Lipetsk region was founded on January 6, 1954. It is located in the Central Black Earth region. There are 18 administrative districts and 8 cities. Lipetsk is the central city. The largest cities are Yelets and Gryazi. The stamp features the Don, the nature reserve "Galichya Gora", Zadonsky men's monastery and a tractor LT3-155.

Moscow region was founded on January 14, 1929. The terrain is flat. There are 39 administrative districts and 74 cities. Moscow os the capital of the region. The stamp features the Iosifo-Volokolamsky Monastery, Abramtsevo hall, the memorial to the defenders of Moscow during the Great Patriotic war of 1941-1945 (by A.S.Demirkhanov and K.M.Zinich). In the centre of the composition there is a monument in the village Gorki.

Nenetskiy autonomy was founded on October 7, 1977. Most part of the territory is beyond the Arctic Circle. There is one city and 2 townships. Naryan-Mar is the central city of the region. The stamp features the extraction of oil, deep-sea fishery and and also a post office in Khanty-Mansiysk, national toys and ornament.

Nizhniy Novgorod region was founded on January 14, 1929. There are 48 administrative districts and 26 cities. Nizhniy Novgorod is the centre of the region. Dzerzhinsk and Arzamas are the largest cities of the region. The stamp features Boldino hall, a tower of the Nizhegorodsky Kremlin, the Nizhegorodskaya Fair building, a monument to Seraphim Sarovsky in Sarov and also productions of the local handicrafts.
