On September 27, a postage stamp dedicated to the International Olympiad on Financial Security was put into postal circulation

The International Olympiad on Financial Security is an annual event aimed at improving the informational, financial and legal literacy of the younger generation, searching for talented youth, and stimulating educational, cognitive and research activities in the field of financial security. It has been held since 2021. The organizers of the event are the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Federal Financial Monitoring Service, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, and educational organizations that are part of the International Network AML/CFT Institute. Among the participants of the Olympiad are representatives of Russia and 40 CIS countries, BRICS, SCO, the Middle East, Latin America and Africa.

The event is focused on addressing such tasks as formation of a new type of thinking and a new format of activity, identification of talented schoolchildren and students in the field of financial security; providing conditions for an individual educational trajectory, facilitating the professional orientation of schoolchildren and students to build human resources for the financial security system; and formation of a unified educational, research and information space in the field of financial security.

The participants in the Olympiad are bachelor's, specialist's and master's degree students from institutes of higher education of participating countries, as well as pupils of grades 8-10 studying in educational institutions in Russia.

The final of the VI International Olympiad on Financial Security will be held from September 27 to October 4 of 2026 in the city of Krasnoyarsk.

The postage stamp features the mascot of the International Olympiad on Financial Security - the Fini raccoon, against the backdrop of natural attractions of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

In addition to the issue of the postage stamp, JSC Marka produced First Day Covers and special cancels for Moscow and Krasnoyarsk, as well as an illustrated cover with the postage stamp, a label and a First Day Cover with a cancel for Krasnoyarsk inside.
