On September 14, six postage stamps dedicated to cities of labor valor were put into postal circulation

A City of Labor Valor is an honorary title of the Russian Federation, instituted by the Federal Law of March 1, 2020, “in order to commemorate the feat of home front workers during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945”. It is granted to the cities of the Russian Federation, whose residents "made a significant contribution to the achievement of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 by providing uninterrupted production of military and civilian products at industrial enterprises, located in the city, and demonstrated massive labor heroism and selflessness”.

The postage stamps provide images of:
— a monument dedicated to the workers of the Yamal home front during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 in Salekhard (sculptor A. Butaev, architect A. Tyutnev);
— a memorial to the memory of the natives of Vladimir fallen in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 in Vladimir (sculptor A. Pereverten, architect V. Fomin);
— a monument to the defenders of the Arctic in Monchegorsk of the Murmansk Region (sculptor V. Korolev, architect M. Gorelik);
— a City of Labor Valor stele in Komsomolsk‑on‑Amur of the Khabarovsk Territory (sculptor D. Stritovich, architect T. Yurchenko);
— a monument to the citizens of Volodarsk, heroes of the labor front in Ulyanovsk;
— a memorial In Memory of the Fallen Factory Workers in Gorlovka of the Donetsk People’s Republic.

In addition to the issue of the postage stamps, JSC Marka produced First Day Covers and special cancels for Moscow, Vladimir, Gorlovka of the Donetsk People's Republic, Komsomolsk-on-Amur of the Khabarovsk Territory, Monchegorsk of the Murmansk Region, Salekhard and Ulyanovsk.
