The event took place at the Administration of the Kursk Region. During the meeting, a cooperation agreement was signed between Joint-Stock Company Marka and the Kursk Region.
The purpose of the agreement is a comprehensive study and popularization of the historic and cultural heritage of the Region, attraction of wide attention from the Russian and international public to unique sites and the history of the Kursk Region for the intensive development of tourism through the issuance of state insignia, including postage stamps, illustrated pre-stamped envelopes, postcards dedicated to outstanding personalities, memorable places, landmarks and traditions of the Kursk Region, as well as the organization and implementation of creative, educational, and exhibition projects.
During the period from 2025 to 2026, within the framework of the cooperation between Joint-Stock Company Marka and the Administration of the Kursk Region, 19 items of state insignia have been issued dedicated to various jubilee events and the historical and cultural heritage of the Kursk Region.
Until the end of 2026, it is planned to issue four postage stamps in the Contemporary Art of Russia series dedicated to monuments of the Kursk Region, which will provide images of the monument to Arkady Gaidar and the Timur young volunteers team; the Kolobok sculpture; the monument to Georgy Sviridov; and the monument To the Sons of Regiments installed in the city of Kursk. It is also intended to issue a souvenir sheet dedicated to the 200th Birth Anniversary of the painter and graphic artist Konstantin Trutovsky, and a postage stamp in the Decorative and Applied Art of Russia. Toys series where a Kozhlya toy from the Kursk Region is shown among other toys.
