On September 4, an official ceremony took place of special cancellation of an ASE dedicated to the St. Petersburg University of the State Fire Service of the EMERCOM of Russia named after the Hero of the RF, General of the Army E.Zinichev

The event was attended by Lieutenant General of the Internal Service Bogdan Gavkalyuk, the Head of the St. Petersburg University of the State Fire Service of the EMERCOM of Russia named after the Hero of the Russian Federation, General of the Army E. Zinichev; and Veronika Maksimenkova, the Director General of Joint Stock Company Marka.

The history of the University dates back to October 18 of 1906. Over the years of its activities, the educational institution has trained thousands of highly qualified specialists who have always been distinguished by excellent scientific knowledge, professionalism, bravery and courage, as well as loyalty to the best traditions of the University and the Russian Fire Service. Over the entire period of the University existence, many graduates have been awarded state awards. On April 25, 2022, by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation, the University was awarded the honorary title named after the Hero of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Evgeniy Nikolaevich Zinichev. In 2025, the University was awarded the Order of Honor. Today, the educational institution is the country's leading university for training specialists with higher and postgraduate education in the field of fire safety.

In the framework of cooperation between the Ministry of Civil Defense, Emergencies and Disaster Relief of the Russian Federation and Joint Stock Company Marka, the 25th Anniversary of the EMERCOM of Russia was marked in 2015 by the issuance of a postage stamp featuring the building of the Department. In 2023, four postage stamps dedicated to the professions of EMERCOM officers of Russia were issued, as well as a postage stamp in the Heroes of the Russian Federation series dedicated to Army General Evgeniy Zinichev.
