The event was attended by Alexander Gusev, the Governor of the Voronezh Region; Alexander Sidyakin, the Head of the Central Executive Committee of the United Russia Party, a deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the coordinator of the Historical Memory federal party project; and Veronika Maksimenkova, the Director General of Joint‑Stock Company Marka.
The postage stamps were issued as part of the Historical Memory federal party project of the UNITED RUSSIA Party. The stamps feature the Dormition Church, the Mariinsky Gymnasium, the Oldenburg’s Palace, and the South-Eastern Railway Administration Building. All these buildings are well‑known landmarks of the Voronezh Region. Such philatelic issues encompass love for the Motherland, the preservation of historical memory and the cultural heritage of the Voronezh Region.
The postage stamps were issued within the Cultural Heritage of Russia series. The Print Run is 15 thousand stamps. The design is by Artist Aleksandr Moskovets.
The postage stamps have been put into postal circulation and went on sale in post offices throughout the country and the Collectioner show room chain.
