The second place in the Best Mixed Printing Technique category went to the souvenir sheet of the second emission type in the Archaeological Heritage of Russia series dedicated to the gold of the Huns.
The Competition was held under the auspices of the World Association for the Development of Philately and the Philatelic Federation of South Africa. The aim of the Competition was to promote and highlight exceptional achievements in the field of stamp design and production. The jury consisted of scientists, design artists, philatelists, and jury members appointed by the World Association for the Development of Philately. The participants in the Competition were designated operators from member countries of the Universal Postal Union.
