The cancellation ceremony was attended by Aleksandr Sidyakin, the Head of the Central Executive Committee of the United Russia Party, a Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, a coordinator of the federal party project; Olga Zanko, a Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee for the Development of Civil Society, the Chairman of the Central Council of United Russia Supporters, the Chairman of the Central Headquarters of the Victory Volunteers All-Russian social movement; Vladislav Golovin, a Hero of the Russian Federation, a member of the Supreme Council of the United Russia Party, the Head of the General Staff of the YNARMIYA All-Russian Children's and Youth Military Patriotic Social Movement; and Veronika Maksimenkova, the Director General of Joint Stock Company Marka.
Victory Volunteers is an All-Russian social movement engaged in the civic and patriotic education and the preservation of historical memory, it holds campaigns timed to the celebration of the Victory Day. In 2015, the All-Russian Volunteer Corps was established for the 70th Anniversary of Victory. Following the results of the corps activities, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin supported the initiative to create the Victory Volunteers All-Russian social movement. Currently, the members of the movement carry out their activities in 89 regions of Russia and more than 60 countries abroad.
The postage stamp presents an image of official symbols of the Victory Volunteers All-Russian social movement. The design artist is Sergei Kapranov. The Print Run is 144 thousand stamps.
Today, the postage stamps were put into postal circulation and went on sale in post offices and the Collectioner show room chain.
Traditionally, issues of the state valuable postal matter of the Russian Federation are timed to landmark historical cultural, and sporting events, or are dedicated to state-run and public organizations, celebrated personalities, and major backbone enterprises of the Russian economy.
