Veronika Maksimenkova, the Director General of JSC Marka, took part in the World Philatelic Exhibition and WADP Workshop in Seoul

On September 17 to 21, Seoul (Republic of Korea) hosts the PHILAKOREA2025 World Stamp Exhibition, organized by the Postal Service of the Republic of Korea, the Korea Postal Service Agency and the Philatelic Federation of Korea under the auspices of the International Philatelic Federation. Russia is represented at the exhibition by the philatelic exhibit The Beauty of the Native Land, which includes postage stamps and souvenir sheets featuring flora and fauna, natural attractions and cultural sites, as well as official catalogues of valuable postal matter.

“A stamp is traditionally considered a country's calling card. However, we know it is also a puzzle. We add together these tiny pieces to compose a huge picture of our history, culture and friendship, so therein lies a lively dialogue, a dialogue between epochs and peoples, and it is philately that is one of the principal components of a humanitarian bridge of our time and of the most striking components of a dialogue of this kind.” — Veronika Maksimenkova emphasized in her greeting speech.

Besides, the World Association for the Development of Philately held the Workshop themed Academy, Artificial Intelligence and WEB3: New Stages in Our Philatelic Journey. More than 30 countries took part in the discussion of the key trends of our time: innovations in the field of digitalization and artificial intelligence as a powerful tool for attribution and cataloguing.
