On September 19, an official ceremony took place of cancellation of a postage stamp dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of the Kimry Gorky Factory

The cancellation ceremony was attended by Igor Zadorozhny, the Head of the Ratniki Otechestva Military-Patriotic Association, a Hero of the Russian Federation; Vladislav Shorikov, the President of the Tver Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Andrei Dmitriev, the Chairman of the Tver Regional Branch of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs; and Aleksandr Yakovlev, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC Kimrskaya Fabrika im. Gorkogo.

The postage stamp provides an image of a person in protective clothing in production at the Kimry factory, against the background of the enterprise building. The Design Artist is Aleksandr Povarikhin. The Print Run is 54 thousand stamps.

On September 19, the postage stamps were put into postal circulation and went on sale in post offices and the Collectioner show room chain.

Traditionally, issues of the state valuable postal matter are timed to landmark historical, cultural and sports events, or are dedicated to state-run and public organizations, celebrated personalities and major backbone enterprises of the Russian economy.
