On September 19, an official ceremony took place of special cancellation of an illustrated pre-stamped envelope dedicated to the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia

The event was attended by Sergey Chernogaev, the Chairman of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia; Mikhail Shmakov, the President of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia; Natalya Agapova, the Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Agricultural Workers of the Russian Federation and a member of the Council of Elders under the Chairman of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia; Anatoly Nazeykin, the Chairman of the Communication Workers Union of Russia; and Aleksandra Mazur, the Chairwoman of the Youth Council of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia and a leading specialist in the socio-economic department of the All-Russian Trade Union of Oil, Gas and Construction Industry Workers.

The history of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia goes back to 1905. Today, it is a national trade union center independent of the governmental, political, and business structures. It is the largest association of workers in Russia. The organization participates at the expert level in the development of federal and regional laws related to the social and labor sphere, the observance of workers' and trade union rights, and actively influences the process of improving Russian legislation. The Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia has 122 member organizations: 36 all-Russian and interregional trade unions and 86 territorial associations of trade union organizations. The Federation unites more than 19 million trade union members.

The illustrated pre-stamped envelope features the logo of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia. The Print Run is 500,000 pre-stamped envelopes.

The envelopes have already gone on sale in post offices and the Collectioner show room chain.
