On September 4, a postage stamp dedicated to Mikhail Gudkov was put into postal circulation in the Heroes of the Russian Federation series

Mikhail Gudkov (1983-2025) was a Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, a Major General, a twice Hero of the Russian Federation.

By the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of October 20, 2023, for the courage and heroism demonstrated on the performance of military duty, Guards Colonel Mikhail Gudkov was awarded the title of Hero of the Russian Federation.

By the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of July 6, 2025, for the courage and heroism demonstrated in the course of the Special Military Operation, Major General Mikhail Gudkov was awarded the second title of Hero of the Russian Federation (posthumously).

The postage stamp provides a portrait of Hero of the Russian Federation Mikhail Gudkov and the Gold Star Medal.
