On August 27, an official ceremony took place of cancellation of postage stamps dedicated to Cities of Labor Valor

The event was held simultaneously in Moscow, Kazan, Magnitogorsk, Penza, Perm, Tomsk and Tyumen in the format of a videoconference. Residents of these cities made a significant contribution to the achievement of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 by providing uninterrupted production of military and civilian products at industrial enterprises, located in the city, and therewith demonstrated massive labor heroism and selflessness.

The participants in the cancellation ceremony in Moscow were V. Yakushev, the Secretary of the General Council of the UNITED RUSSIA party; A. Sidyakin, a First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Head of the Central Executive Committee of the UNITED RUSSIA party, a Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, a coordinator of the Historical Memory federal UNITED RUSSIA Party Project; and M. Volkov, the Director General of JSC Russian Post.

From Kazan, F. Mukhametshin, the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, went on air. In Tomsk, the stamps were cancelled by V. Mazur, the Governor of the Tomsk Region. In Tyumen, A. Moor, the Governor of the Tyumen Region took part in the event. In Magnitogorsk, S. Berdnikov, the Head of the city of Magnitogorsk took part in the cancellation ceremony. In Perm, V. Grigoryev, a First Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Perm Territory, participated in the ceremony. O. Melnichenko, the Governor of the Penza Region, greeted the participants of the cancellation ceremony on behalf of Penza.

The postage stamps provide images of:
— sculptural composition dedicated to home front workers during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 in Tyumen (authors S. Titlinov, A. Medvedev, and S. Savin);
— monument to home front workers in Kazan (sculptor M. Gasimov);
— monument Home Front for the Front in Magnitogorsk (sculptor L. Golovnitsky, architect Y. Belopolsky);
— monument to the heroes of the front and home front in Perm (sculptor V. Klykov;)
— monument of Military and Labor Glory in Penza (sculptors G. Yastrebenetsky, V. Kozenyuk, and N. Teplov, architect V. Sokhin);
— monument to a woman and a teenager who carved out a Victory on the home front in Tomsk (authors D. Zheltov, V. Romanov, and M. Petrov).

The Design Artist of the postage stamps is Aleksandr Povarikhin. The face value of the postage stamps is 60 rubles; the Print Run is 16 thousand each stamp.

A series of postage stamps Cities of Labor Valor has been in production since 2021 on the initiative of the Historical Memory federal UNITED RUSSIA Party Project. A total of 28 postage stamps have been issued during this period.
