A competition for artists to design a postage stamp and author’s greeting cards themed My Russia! is launched

Russia is a unique, beautiful, and hospitable country with many historical, cultural, and natural attractions. An encounter with our vast country will become an exciting and unforgettable journey.

Postage stamps are a kind of a calling card of the country. Valuable postal matter reaches the most remote corners of the world, easily crossing state borders, and telling the inhabitants of the planet about Russia in a special, expressive language.

JSC Marka with the assistance of the Moscow Branch of the Union of Artists of Russia and the Union of Philatelists of Russia announce the Open All-Russian thematic competition for drawing sketches of a postage stamp and greeting cards themed My Russia!. The goals and objectives of the Project are increasing the interest for stamp collection; popularization of the genre of the author's artistic miniature executed both in traditional “manual” techniques (author’s graphic works, limited edition graphics, collage, etc.) and with digital technologies; extending the tradition of the author’s artistic stamp and bringing new authors to the genre.

To participate in the Competition, a submitter of the application needs to design an interesting, bright, eye-catching sketch of a stamp or author's greeting card dedicated to our country in different techniques: painting, author’s or computer graphics, collage, and others.

The organizers will appreciate participation in the Competition of citizens of the Russian Federation aged 18 and older: professional painters and designers, students and graduates of creative universities, and non-professional artists. Participation is free of charge.

Online applications for participation in the Competition will be accepted from July 1 until 23:59 (Moscow time) of August 24, 2025. Please, fill out the electronic application form available here.

The Competition results will be announced on August 29, 2025. The best works will be selected for issuance of a postage stamp and five greeting cards.
