On June 30, a souvenir sheet dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of the establishment of the Krasnoyarsk Pillars National Park was put into postal circulation

The Krasnoyarsk Pillars National Park is located in the foothills of the Eastern Sayan Mountains. It was established in 1925 as a nature reserve on the right bank of the Yenisei River, near the southwestern suburbs of Krasnoyarsk, to protect the natural complexes around the syenitic rock pillars. In 2019, it was transformed into a national park. Its territory is a typical section of a mid-mountain taiga landscape with elevations ranging from 200 to 840 m above sea level. The highest point is located on the Kaidynsky Range.

About 98% of the territory of the Reserve is covered by forests. More than 50 species of plants growing in the National Park are listed in the Red Data Books of the Russian Federation and the Krasnoyarsk Territory, nine of which are on the federal list (eight species of orchids and feather grass). The fauna of the National Park is represented by 296 species of animals. A more widespread among ungulates is the maral (a large subspecies of red deer). The protected area is also home to musk deer, roe deer, and elk.

Large and medium-sized predators recorded in the Krasnoyarsk Pillars include brown bear, wolf, lynx, wolverine, fox, and badger. Small predators include weasel, ermine stoat, Siberian striped weasel, American mink, otter, and sable. Rodents are the most numerous family in the Park. The list of birds recorded during ornithological observations in the protected area includes 227 species. Of the species listed in the Red Book of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the peregrine falcon, eagle owl, little owl, sparrow owl, and house owl nest within the National Park and its protected area, as well as the regionally rare bearded owl and long-eared owl.

Krasnoyarsk Pillars is one of the most visited national parks in Russia. More than one million people visit its recreational area every year, and on weekends, up to 20 thousand visitors pass along the most popular route. The main attraction of the Park is the syenitic rocks. Some of them acquired guessable outlines of people, animals and mythological creatures. The most famous of them are Ded (Grandsire), Perya (Feathers), Takmak, Lvinye Vorota (Lion's Gate), Pervyi Stolb (First Pillar), and Kitaiskaya Stenka (Chinese Wall).

The postage stamp provides an image of the Chinese Wall in the Takmakovsky District of the Krasnoyarsk Pillars National Park; the margins of the souvenir sheet feature the surroundings of the Reserve and the wood grouse and fox residing there.

In addition to the issue of the souvenir sheet, JSC Marka produced First Day Covers and special cancels for Moscow and Krasnoyarsk, as well as an illustrated cover with the souvenir sheet, a label and a First Day Cover with a cancel for Krasnoyarsk inside.
