On May 7, 2025, the final stage of the All-Russian Philatelic Competition dedicated to the 80th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War opened in the Collectioner show room in Moscow. The competition was arranged by the Union of Philatelists of Russia and was held in five stages in different Russian cities: Moscow, Kostroma, Magnitogorsk, Samara and Ulyanovsk.
The exhibition presents the best 20 exhibits from Moscow, Kostroma, Magnitogorsk, Perm, Samara, the Ulyanovsk Region, Yakutsk and other cities of Russia, as well as from Armenia, Belarus, and Israel. The exhibition was supplemented by a JSC Marka exhibit on military-patriotic themes.
Personal collections address the heroic pages of the history of the Great Patriotic War. Of great interest are postage stamps of the wartime and authentic letters of soldiers from the front to home. Most of the competition participants, among whom there are many young philatelists, have been collecting stamps, envelopes, post cards and calendars since school age. The fascination with philately considerably broadens the outlook of our fellow citizens, promotes their creative search, and leads to a deeper study of history, culture, traditions and achievements of our Motherland.
The competition has become a notable event for the philatelic community, contributing to the preservation of our historical heritage, providing a continuous link in times and generations.
The exhibition is open for all those interested until May 30, 2025.
Address: 1, Bldg. B, Ploshchad Pobedy, Moscow.
Working hours: daily from 10:00 to 20:00; May 8 - from 10:00 to 19:00.
