On April 21 of 2025, representatives of the Oman Post visited a Collectioner philatelic showroom in Moscow. The meeting took place during an official visit to Russia of a governmental delegation from the Sultanate. Veronika Maksimenkova, the Director General of JSC Marka, met with Ahmed Al-Aamri, the Director of International Relations and Global Business of the Oman Post, and specialists in philately.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the planned joint issue of postage stamps timed to coincide with the 40th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Russian Federation and the Sultanate of Oman. A possible common subject of the postage stamps will be historical and cartographic researches of both countries.
The representatives of the Oman Post got acquainted with a wide range of Russian postage stamps, evaluated the operation of a vending machine for selling philatelic products and saw postage stamps with augmented reality.
