On March 20, the President of the Russian Academy of Arts Zurab Tsereteli presented the Director General of JSC Marka Artem Adibekov with a certificate of honor “for highly useful activities for the benefit of culture and art of Russia”.
The Painting Department and the entire creative team of the Russian Academy of Arts highly appreciated his personal achievements in the issue of state valuable postal matter of Russia. “This is an enormous responsibility that requires not only organizational skills, but also a deep understanding of the history, culture and art of our country. Russian postage stamps are a proof of your contribution to the development of Russian art and its promotion in the international arena. This is a prominent example of combining professional activity and creative self-expression,” Zurab Tsereteli said.
Artem Adibekov is a talented landscape artist working in the style of realism; his paintings are in museum and private collections. Since 2017, JSC Marka has been holding its own exhibition project The Art of a Stamp that presents the best examples of postal miniatures and paintings by contemporary artists, members of the Russian Academy of Arts and the Union of Artists of Russia.
