The All-Russian Children's Drawing Competition for the design of a sketch of a pre-stamped postcard themed On the 80th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The Year of the Defender of the Fatherland is launched

The organizer of the Competition is JSC Marka with the support of the Moscow branch of the Union of Artists of Russia and the Union of Philatelists of Russia.

The participants in the Competition On the 80th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The Year of the Defender of the Fatherland may be citizens of the Russian Federation aged 7 to 18 years old: students of general educational institutions, art schools and art studios, students of art colleges.

The contest is aimed at preserving the historical memory of children and teenagers, stimulating interest in studying the history of the country, at fostering in the younger generation a sense of patriotism and respect for the memory of our ancestors, defenders of the Fatherland.

The goals and objectives of the project are to increase interest in the history of the country, expand the horizons of children and teenagers and create conditions for the formation of primary ideas about social and cultural values of our people, such as the symbols of the Great Victory, the prolongation of the tradition and popularization of the genre of author's artistic postcards, made both in traditional “manual” techniques (author’s graphic works, limited edition graphics, collage, etc.) and with digital technologies, as well as bringing new authors to the genre.

Participation in the contest is free of charge.

To participate in the competition, a submitter needs to design an interesting, vivid, eye-catching sketch of an artistic pre-stamped postcard themed On the 80th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The Year of the Defender of the Fatherland in different techniques: painting, author's or computer graphics, collage, etc.

! Works created by neural networks and other applications for producing artificial images with the use of software algorithms without skills of authorship will be rejected.

On-line acceptance of applications is open from March 19 to April 30, 2025 until 23:59 (MSC). Please, fill out the on-line application form located at the bottom of the page.

The competition results will be announced on May 9, 2025.

Based on the best works, finalists will be selected and a winner will be chosen. The winner's sketch will be printed on a pre-stamped postcard.

The organizers reserve the right to encourage the finalists and winners of the competition with additional prizes.
