Presentation of colored souvenir postmarks took place in the Moscow Collectioner show room

Joint Stock Company Marka has designed a new type of souvenir postmarks. The original impression of the postmark is produced with the help of several colored postmarks, each of which contains a part of the image. Each postmark has its own coloring.

The first series of four postmarks was produced for the Fauna of Russia stamps. They provide images of a dog, a cat, a camel and reindeer. During the war, animals were of great help at the frontline and in the rear; they replaced equipment and transportation, fought on an equal footing with soldiers, saving lives and bringing the Great Victory closer.

All participants in the event were offered a possibility to create their own colored postmarks and use them to decorate First-Day Covers and maxi-cards. These postmarks can be classified as cachets or non-postal impressions that are applied to postal items for decorative purposes and decorate philatelists' exhibits or postcrossers' postcards.

Colored postmarks are already available for customers of the Collectioner show room in Moscow. In the near future, they will also be sent to Vladivostok, Volgograd, Yekaterinburg, Kaliningrad, Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk, St. Petersburg and Sevastopol.

We look forward to seeing you in our Collectioner show rooms!
