During the event, the winners of the All-Russian Competition of drawing designs for New Year postage stamps and postcards were announced, and a presentation of the issued products was held. The ceremony of commemorative New Year postage stamp cancellation was attended by Artem Adibekov, the Director General of JSC Marka, and Alexey Borodin, the President of the Union of Philatelists of Russia.
Two participants have become the winners in the Postage Stamp nomination: Tatyana Myachina from St. Petersburg and Zinaida Farmanova from Barnaul of the Altai Territory. The works by Elena Vavilina from Togliatti, Maxim Kuleshov from Moscow, Marina Kroshechkina from Pushkin, Daria Erbach from Omsk, and Maria Kotsareva from Simferopol were recognized the best in the Author Greeting Card nomination. The winner in the Audience Choice Award nomination was Irina Kiyan.
The Collectioner show room with partnership of the Union of Philatelists of Russia arranged a philatelic exhibition of New Year postal miniatures of the Russian Federation, as well as of stamps with augmented reality.
At the end of the official part of the event, the participants spent time playing fascinating philatelic game Russian New Year postage stamps, trying their hand at the knowledge of the New Year stamps of our country. The winner was Vlad Karpukhin who was the first to cope with the task; he was granted a souvenir album Happy New Year! Postage Stamps of Russia.
All participants of the meeting became authors of an unusual New Year postcard with the image of postage stamps, made during the master class.
