The document was signed by Colonel General Alexei Vorobyov, a Deputy Director of the Federal Service of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, and Artem Adibekov, the Director General of JSC Marka. The ceremony took place at the Central Museum of the National Guard Troops in Moscow. The event was attended by Alexander Khinstein, the Chairman of the State Duma Committee of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on Information Policy, Information Technologies and Communications; Retired Lieutenant General Peter Rovensky, the Chairman of the Veterans Council of the National Guard Troops; and heads of structural subdivisions of the agency's central office.
The purpose of the Memorandum is cooperation in the sphere of cultural activities, promotion of military-patriotic and cultural values, as well as traditions and historical heritage of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, assistance in the implementation of creative projects, and immortalization of feats of military service personnel of the National Guard troops of the Russian Federation.
JSC Marka and the Federal Service of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation have been actively collaborating for many years. About 40 postage stamps dedicated to the heroes of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and the National Guard Troops of Russia, as well as to professions of the staff of the Federal Service of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation, outstanding historical figures and units of the Service have been put into circulation.
