On November 15, an official ceremony took place of cancellation of a postage stamp dedicated to the V. Polenov’s Museum-Reserve

The event was held simultaneously in Kaluga and Vladivostok in the format of a videoconference. Today, the Primorye State Art Gallery opened the Vasily Polenov. Family of Artists exhibition, which is dedicated to the 180th Birth Anniversary of great Russian painter Vasily Polenov. In Kaluga, the event was attended by Igor Shchegolev, the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Central Federal District, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the V. Polenov Memorial Historical, Art and Natural Museum-Reserve, and Vladislav Shapsha, the Governor of the Kaluga Region. In Vladivostok, the participants in the cancellation ceremony were Oleg Kozhemyako, the Governor of Primorye Territory, and Natalia Polenova, the Director of the V. Polenov Memorial Historical, Art and Natural Museum-Reserve, the artist's great-granddaughter.

The postage stamp provides an image of the painter’s Museum-Reserve decorated with drawings of the artist's palette and a decorative ribbon. The face value of the postage stamp is 31 rubles. The Print Run is 36 thousand stamps.

On November 15 of 2024, the postage stamps were put into postal circulation in the framework of the Cultural Heritage of Russia series and went on sale in post offices and the Collectioner show room chain.
