Artem Adibekov's exhibition has opened in Moscow

 
On October 17, Artem Adibekov's exhibition The Beauty of the Native Land opened in the exhibition hall of the Moscow branch of the Union of Artists of Russia. The event was attended by N. Borovskoi, the First Secretary of the Union of Artists of Russia, the Chairman of the Moscow Branch of the Union of Artists of Russia, an Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts, a People's Artist of the Russian Federation; A. Khinstein, the Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Information Technologies and Communications, A. Nazeikin, the Chairman of the Communications Workers’ Union of Russia; as well as representatives of the Russian Ministry for Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media, the Russian National Guard, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Foundation of Apostle Andrew the First-Called, the Russian Military Historical Society and many others.

The exhibition presents more than 70 works painted by the author during the past 10 years after various trips about the country, where he always takes his sketchbook with him. The collection includes many works devoted to landscapes of Karelia and northern Russia, Crimea, Samara, Plyos, Yaroslavl Region (Pereslavl-Zalessky, the village of Okhotino), Moscow and the nearest Moscow suburbs, where the author lives and works.

Artem Adibekov was born in 1964 in Moscow. In 1981-1983, he took lessons in the studio of A. Sukhinin, and in 2002, he underwent training at the Design course of the Moscow Technological Academy.

Since 2003, Artem Adibekov is a member of the Rodniki Creative Department of the Southern Administrative District of Moscow; since 2008 and 2016, he is a member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia and the Union of Artists of Russia, respectively. Since 2021, Artem Adibekov is a Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Arts, an Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation

Artistic works by Artem Adibekov are available in collections of Museum Reserve Alexandrovskaya Sloboda and in Museum-Estates Arkhangelskoe and Yasnaya Polyana, in the Shchyolkovo Museum of History and Art, museums in Yaroslavl, Ryazan and Plyos, and in private collections.

Since 2005, Artem Adibekov is the Director General of JSC Marka. Under his leadership, a unique team of artists has been formed who are masters of postal miniature. Their works repeatedly became laureates and prizewinners of international philatelic competitions. On his personal initiative, the Marka Publishing House hosts an open studio school of painting, regularly holds on-site plain-air sessions, and accommodates a permanent exhibition.
