On September 30, an official ceremony took place of special cancellation of an unstamped postcard dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of Russian national domain .RU

The event was attended by Rifat Sabitov, the Chairman of the Commission on Development of Information Community, Mass Media and Mass Communications of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation; Eldar Gaifutdinov, a Deputy Head of the Office of the President of the Russian Federation for the Development of Information and Communication Technologies and Communication Infrastructure of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation; Evgeny Kuskevich, the Director for .SU domain Development of the Russian Research Institute for Public Network Development; Dmitry Reutsky, the Director of the Integral Research Institute; and Sergey Grebennikov, the Director of the Russian Association of Electronic Communications.

.RU is a national top-level domain (the highest level in the hierarchy of the domain name system) for Russia. On April 7, 1994, the Russian Federation received national domain .RU, registered by the InterNIC international network center. The task of the National Internet Domain Coordination Center is to ensure reliable and stable operation of the national top-level domains .RU and .RF, which make the basis for the infrastructure of the Russian segment of the Internet.

The unstamped postcard features the .RU domain logo, a map of Russia with the tricolor against the background of a digital system, and safety panels. The quantity of the unstamped card runs up to 1 thousand copies.

In total, for the 30th Anniversary of national domain .RU, 3 unstamped postcards were issued that are dedicated to the safe space of the Russian Internet, accessible national and municipal services, as well as convenience and diversity of services in the Internet for all citizens of our country.
