On September 23, a presentation of a postage stamp dedicated to unmanned aviation systems was held

The event took place within the framework of International Forum Digital Transportation 2024. The ceremony was attended by Dmitry Bakanov, a Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation, and Alexei Raikevich, the Director General of JSC GLONASS.

On January 1, 2024, Russia launched the Unmanned Aviation Systems (UAS) National Project. The project defines the strategy for the development of unmanned aviation for the period until 2030-2035. The structure of the National Project comprises five federal projects, which envisage the development and serial production of domestic UAS, the establishment of large-scale production centers, infrastructure development, including the construction of airfields, heliports and drone ports, as well as training of personnel for unmanned aviation.

The postage stamp was issued in the National Projects of Russia series. It features operators of unmanned aircraft systems, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles of the BVS VT-45, BVS VT-440 and Geoscan 801 models.

Today, the postage stamp was put into postal circulation in the quantity of 264 thousand items.
