The receipt of applications for the All-Russian Drawing Competition of the Happy New Year and Merry Christmas! postage stamp and greeting card has been completed.
The works by Elena Vavilina from Tolyatti (fig. 1), Maxim Kuleshov from Moscow (fig. 2), Marina Kroshechkina from Pushkino (fig. 3), Darya Erbach from Omsk (fig. 4) and Maria Kotsareva from Simferopol (fig. 5) were rated the best in the Author Greeting Card category.

Five artworks advanced to the final selection in the Author Postage Stamp category; they are drawings by Maria Fedorova from Yalta (fig. 1), Zinaida Farmanova from Barnaul (fig. 2), Tatiana Myachina from St. Petersburg (fig. 3), Milena Chistyakova from Krasnodar (fig. 4), and Yaroslava Migulina from Belgorod (fig. 5). We suggest you to choose together the one that will become the New Year postage stamp in 2024.

Voting results and winners will be announced on September 24.

The competition was held from July 9 through September 2 by JSC Marka with support from the Moscow Branch of the Union of Artists of Russia and the Union of Philatelists of Russia.
The All-Russian drawing competition of a postage stamp and a greeting postcard for New Year and Christmas among professional artists has already been held for 7 years. In total, the organizers received more than 300 contest entries made with various techniques.
On the basis of the drawings of the Competition winners, JSC Marka will produce a New Year postage stamp and unstamped postcards to go on sale in post offices and the Collectioner show room chain throughout the country. The winners of the Competition will receive diplomas and money payments.
The jury consisted of professional artists, graphic artists and designers, members of the Union of Artists of Russia.
