The event was held simultaneously in Moscow and St. Petersburg in the format of a teleconference in the buildings of the TASS News Agency. In Moscow, the ceremony was attended by Dmitry Ugnivenko, a Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media; Mikhail Volkov, the Director General and the Chairman of the Management Board of JSC Russian Post; Artem Adibekov, the Director General of JSC Marka; and Andrey Kondrashov, the Director General of the TASS News Agency of Russia.
The TASS News Agency is one of the most authoritative and cited news agencies in Russia and the world, producing about three thousand reports in six languages and about one thousand photo- and video-materials per day from its resident correspondents in Russia and abroad. It has an extensive network of regional information centers in St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Ekaterinburg and Pyatigorsk, dozens of news offices in the country, as well as 59 representative offices in 54 countries.
The souvenir sheet presents a drawing in the style of the Agency's artistic project - propaganda posters ROSTA Windows of Satire, which were published in 1919-1921.
The face value of souvenir sheet is 150 rubles; the Print Run is 17 thousand souvenir sheet. The design is by Artist A. Zbutskaya. In addition to the issue of the souvenir sheet, JSC Marka produced First Day Covers and special cancels for Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Today, the souvenir sheets were put into postal circulation and went on sale in post offices throughout the country and the Collectioner show room chain.
