The Art of a Stamp exhibition of paintings and postal miniatures is under way in the History and Art Museum in the town of Shchelkovo. The exhibition will open on August 1, 2024. Everyone interested is invited to visit a unique exposition of paintings and postal miniatures.
The Art of a Stamp exhibition is a joint project of the Russian Academy of Arts, the Union of Artists of Russia, the Moscow Branch of the Union of Artists of Russia, the Moscow Union of Artists and Joint-Stock Company Marka, which is a combined exposition of paintings, graphics and postage stamps.
The exhibition features paintings by the best Russian artists, members of art associations, whose works were displayed on the postal miniatures, among them: People's Artists of the Russian Federation N. Borovskiy, A. Lyubavin, V. Glukhov, E. Romashko, and A. Teslik. The exposition also presents artworks by Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts N. Gorsky-Chernyshev, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Arts A. Adibekov, Honored Artists of the Russian Federation N. Plastov, A. Dubov, A. Fedulov, N. Zheltushko, P. Groshev, and G. Leman. as well as of the leading artists of JSC Marka, members of the Moscow Branch of the Union of Artists of Russia S. Ulyanovsky, O. Savina and others.
The philatelic part of the exposition is represented by postal miniatures dedicated to historical events, outstanding creative personalities, natural, cultural and literary heritage, flora and architectural monuments of Russia, regions and anniversaries of Russian cities, as well as the decorative and applied arts of our country.
The exhibition will run until September 14, 2024.
