On June 1, on the International Children's Day, JSC Marka kept an event that for the first time brought together clubs of young philatelists from Volgograd, Voronezh, Kazan, Moscow, Samara, Ulyanovsk and the village of Krestovo-Gorodishche of the Ulyanovsk Region.
The participants of the clubs had an opportunity to get acquainted and communicate via video-conferencing arranged on the basis of the Moscow Collectioner show room.
Young philatelists were welcomed by Alexey Borodin, the President of the Union of Philatelists of Russia, and Artem Adibekov, the Director General of JSC Marka.
Each club told about its work and events in effect, about victories and achievements of young collectors at philatelic exhibitions of the regional, all-Russian and even international levels.
Then the participants of the event took part in a fascinating philatelic quiz and a collective creative task: each club prepared a letter to its like-minded people from other cities.
We strongly hope that this acquaintance will turn into a permanent interaction between the cities and will contribute to the popularization of children's and youth philately in our country.
The event was attended by:
- A Circle of Young Philatelists of Volgograd, headed by Pavel Agapov;
- A Club of Young Philatelists Pervaya Marka, Voronezh, headed by Svetlana Mishurova;
- An Ecoclub - Philately-Chronicle, Kazan, headed by Maxim Egorov;
