On May 29, an official ceremony took place of special cancellation of a series of artistic postcard dedicated to the branch of the Tretyakov Gallery in Samara

The event was held in the frames of the opening of the branch of the Tretyakov Gallery in Samara .The cancellation ceremony was attended by Vladimir Osintsev, a Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation; Alexander Khinstein, the Chairman of the State Duma Committee of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on Information Policy, Information Technologies and Communications, a coordinator of the Historical Memory federal Party project; and Elena Pronicheva, the Director General of the Tretyakov Gallery.

The branch of the Tretyakov Gallery in Samara is located in the building of the factory kitchen, which was built under the project of Leningrad architect Ekaterina Maksimova in 1932 in the then fashionable Constructivist style. She designed a two-storeyed building with the total area of 8,200 square meters in the shape of a hammer and sickle. Nowadays, it was granted the title of a cultural heritage site, which specializes in the 20th century art. Light-colored constructivist extension presents to visitors masterpieces from the collection of the Tretyakov Gallery and other Russian and world collections.

The artistic postcards feature paintings from the display of the Samara branch of the Tretyakov Gallery's: Hunters at Rest (V. Perov, 1871); Sunshine (A. Plastov, 1964-1966); The Aristocrat's Breakfast (P. Fedotov, 1849-1850). The cancellation was made with a 2022 postage stamp from the Cultural Heritage of Russia. Architectural Monuments of the Samara Region series with the image of the factory kitchen of the Maslennikov plant. The Print Run of the postcards is 1 thousand each card. The cards went on sale in the Collectioner show room chain.
