On May 21, a ceremony took place of special cancellation of postage stamps dedicated to Anniversaries of frontline writers

The event was held in the Union of Writers of Russia. The ceremony was attended by Alexander Khinstein, the Chairman of the State Duma Committee of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on Information Policy, Information Technologies and Communications, a coordinator of the Historical Memory federal Party project; Bella Cherkesova, a Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation; Nikolai Ivanov, the Chairman of the Board of the Union of Writers of Russia; and Yuri Polyakov, the Chairman of the National Association of Playwrights. The event was also attended by Yury Bondarev's daughter Elena.

Frontline writers are a whole generation of true patriots of the country, who relied in their books on real events and their own frontline experience. A great contribution to the development of Soviet prose and poetry was made by writers who entered the great literature in the late 1950s – early 1960s. The postage stamps provide portraits of Viktor Astafiev, Vladimir Bogomolov, Yury Bondarev, Boris Vasiliev and Yulia Drunina against the backdrop of illustrations of their war works.

The face value of the postage stamps is 80 rubles; the Print Run is 18 thousand sheets. The design is by Artist Maxim Podobed. On May 8, 2024, the stamps were put into postal circulation and went on sale in post offices throughout the country and the Collectioner show room chain.
