On the threshold of the Victory Day, philatelic exhibition The Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 opened in the Collectioner show room in Moscow.
The exposition presents postage stamps of the Russian Federation devoted to the chief military operations and the victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. In addition to stamps, displayed are illustrated pre-stamped envelopes and postcards, colorful booklets and all sorts of souvenir gifts on this subject. You can see all these materials in the display cases of the thematic exhibition under way, as well as purchase them for your collection.
Traditionally, issues of the state valuable postal matter are dedicated to landmark historical events; they contribute to military patriotic education, preservation of historical heritage, which ensures continuity of times and generations.
