Souvenir pack in an illustrated cover Felt Carpet Making of the North Caucasus is already on sale!

The souvenir pack comprises blocks of four Decorative and Applied Art of Russia. Felt Carpet Making, First Day Covers with cancels for Vladikavkaz, Magas, Makhachkala, Nalchik and a label.

The label is produced on special flocked paper. Owing to polyamide and viscose fibers applied to the paper with the use of a flockator, the paper has a velvety texture imitating a real carpet. The label shows fragments of patterns of felt carpets: bichgen kiyiz (the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria), gauyzh (the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania), isting (the Republic of Ingushetia), and arbabash (the Republic of Dagestan).
