On February 7, a ceremony took place of special cancellation of a pre-stamped postcard dedicated to The Kazan Kremlin National Historic-and-Architectural and Art Museum-Reserve

The event was attended by Damir Natfullin, a Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan; Albert Yakovlev a Deputy Minister for Digital Development of State Administration, Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan; Artem Adibekov, the Director General of Joint Stock Company Marka; and Ilnur Rakhimov, the Director of The Kazan Kremlin National Historic-and-Architectural and Art Museum-Reserve.

The pre-stamped postcard shows painting The Syuyumbike Tower by Azat Galimov; the tower is located within the Kazan Kremlin, away from the fortress walls. It served as a watchtower. Its top offers a wide view of the Kazanka River, the Volga River and the neighborhood. The Print Run of the postcard is 1.4 thousand items. A total of three subjects of pre-stamped postcards with the image of the Kazan Kremlin were put into postal circulation.

The event was held in the framework of the Art of a Stamp exhibition, which has been running in the Museum since December of 2023. The exhibition gives the visitors a possibility to see paintings by members of art associations whose works were pictured on postal miniatures: People’s Artists of the Russian Federation N. Borovskoi, V. Glukhov, E. Romashko, A. Teslik, A. Lyubavin and G. Leman, as well as Honored Artists of the Russian Federation N. Plastov, A. Dubov, A. Fedulov and N. Zheltushko. The exposition also presents artistic works by an Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts N. Gorsky-Chernyshev, an Honored Artist of the Russian Federation P. Groshev, a fine art restorer of the Grekov Studio of Military Artists I. Krivshinko, a member of the Moscow Branch of the Union of Russia, a Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Arts A. Adibekov, and the leading artists of JSC Marka, members of the Moscow Branch of the Union of Artists of Russia S. Ulyanovsky and O. Savina.

The philatelic exposition of the Art of a Stamp exhibition presents Russian postal miniatures dedicated to the cultural heritage and architectural monuments, artists and cultural figures, as well as decorative and applied arts of our country. A separate section belongs to paintings and state valuable postal matter featuring the sights of the Republic of Tatarstan and Kazan.

The exposition is open until March 3, 2024.
