A souvenir pack in an illustrated cover dedicated to the project of JSC Marka of using the augmented reality technology on postage stamps has gone on sale in Collectioner show rooms. The pack contains 4 souvenir sheets and 21 stamps with the augmented reality technology, as well as detailed instructions on how to use the mARKa app.
The application of modern visual technologies makes it possible to go beyond the boundaries of the usual perception of a postal miniature as state valuable postal matter, to enhance its scientific and educational potentiality and to attract more people to philately. Presently, the mARKa application catalogue contains 27 postage stamps and unstamped postcards with additional virtual content.
The Print Run is 300 items.
