On September 21, a ceremony took place of special cancellation of a stamp dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of the Sklifosovsky Clinical and Research Institute for Emergency Medicine

The event was attended by Sergey Petrikov, the Director of the Sklifosovsky Clinical and Research Institute for Emergency Medicine, M.D., a Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences, a Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences; professor Mogeli Khubutiya, the President of the Sklifosovsky Clinical and Research Institute for Emergency Medicine, M.D., an Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences; and professor Mikhail Rogal, the Deputy Director for scientific work of the Sklifosovsky Clinical and Research Institute for Emergency Medicine, M.D

The Sklifosovsky Institute is the largest multi-speciality scientific and practical center for emergency and elective care in Russia and the only multi-speciality emergency hospital in Moscow dealing with the problems of emergency surgery, intensive care, concomitant and burning injuries, emergency cardiology and acute poisoning. The structure of the Institute comprises 30 scientific and 80 clinical departments. About 70 thousand patients annually receive high-tech medical care in the clinic.

The high scientific and practical potential of the staff and up-to-date equipment make it possible to successfully develop new and improve existing diagnostic and treatment methods for emergency conditions.

The postage stamp provides an image of the building of the Sklifosovsky Clinical and Research Institute for Emergency Medicine. The face value of the postage stamp is 63 rubles; the Print Run is 80 thousand stamps. On April 5, 2023, the postage stamps were put into postal circulation and went on sale in post offices throughout the country and the Collectioner show room chain.
