The receipt of applications for the All-Russian Drawing Competition of the Happy New Year and Merry Christmas! postage stamp and greeting card has been completed.
The works by Ekaterina Ulyanova from Moscow (fig. 1), Dmitry Aptukov from Moscow (fig. 2), Irina Kiyan from Moscow (fig. 3), Tamara Polyakova from Ekaterinburg (fig. 4) and Svetlana Frantseva from St. Petersburg (fig. 5) were rated the best in the Greeting card category.
Five works advanced to the final selection in the Postage stamp category. We suggest you to choose together the one that will become the New Year postage stamp in 2023.

The competition was held from June 10 through September 1 by JSC Marka with support from the Moscow Branch of the Union of Artists of Russia and the Union of Philatelists of Russia. The operator of the contest, authorized to accept and process the competition applications, is the ArtContract information and exhibition agency, www.artcontract.ru.
The All-Russian drawing competition of a postage stamp and a greeting postcard for New Year and Christmas among professional artists has already been held for 6 years. In total, the organizers received more than 200 contest entries made in various techniques.
On the basis of the drawings of the competition winners, JSC Marka will produce a New Year postage stamp and unstamped postcards to go on sale in post offices and the Collectioner show room chain throughout the country.
The authors of all the works admitted to examination will receive electronic certificates of the contest participants, and the winners will receive contest diplomas and money payments.
The jury consisted of professional artists, graphic artists and designers, members of the Union of Artists of Russia.
