Joint-stock company Marka has participated in the philatelic exhibition in Brest

On July 18-26, 2023, a philatelic exhibition was held in the city of Brest of the Republic of Belarus. The exhibition was devoted to the 175th Birth Anniversary of great Russian painters V. Vasnetsov and V. Surikov. The exhibition was organized by Consul General of the Russian Federation in Brest Oleg Murashev in association with the Brest branch of the Belarusian Union of Philatelists with the assistance of JSC Marka and RUE Belpochta.

JSC Marka displayed thematic exhibit Fine Arts of Russia, which presented stamps, postal blocks, postage stamped envelopes and postcards of the Russian Federation issued from 1992 to 2023, and was awarded a diploma for the great contribution to the promotion of Russian culture and organization of this philatelic exhibition.

A significant section of the exposition was assigned to the collection of Naum Estrin, a veteran of Belarusian philately, a member of the Brest branch of the Belarusian Union of Philatelists, who devoted more than 70 years to his hobby. His exhibit Pictural Sketches of grand Russia covers Russian painting from the 15th to the 20th century and presents a wide range of materials on this subject: stamps, envelopes, and postcards. In addition, Valery Andrejuk from Brest presented his exhibit Belarusian Landscape in the Heart of Ivan Shishkin.

Oleg Murashev, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Brest, stated in his welcoming speech that the Russian Federation is very pleased with ever-increasing contacts with the Republic of Belarus in the humanitarian sphere, and also presented Naum Estrin with a souvenir pack in a cover with a postal block and a label issued by JSC Marka for the 175th Anniversary of V. Vasnetsov.
