On June 29, a ceremony took place of special cancellation of a stamped postcard dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of the Orchestra of the Headquarters of the Central District of the Rosgvardia (Russian National Guard)

The event was attended by Colonel General Alexandr Popov, the Commander of the Central Orsha-Khingan Order of Zhukov Red Banner District of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation; Lieutenant Colonel Ibrahim Abdulayev, the Head of the military orchestra service of the Central District of the Rosgvardia, the artistic director of the Orchestra; Retired Colonel Nikolai Grigoriev, an Assistant Commander of the Central District of the Rosgvardia for communications with Veterans; Colonel General Anatoly Shkirko, the Chairman of the Board of the Doblest Charity Foundation for assistance to veterans of combat actions and special operations, a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Combat Veterans of Internal Affairs and Internal Troops of Russia; and Artem Adibekov, the Director General of JSC Marka.

The Orchestra of the Headquarters of the Central Orsha-Khingan Order of Zhukov Red Banner District of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation dates its history back to March of 1923 and it is one of the oldest military musical groups in the country. The first head of the Orchestra was a Civil War participant, warrant officer Trofim Tikhonov. On November 7, 1941, the Orchestra took part in the parade on Red Square in the composition of a combined orchestra regiment. In 1943, the orchestra won the first place in the competition of military orchestras of the Moscow Military District, which brought it the title of the Model Orchestra of the 236th Regiment of Convoy Troops of the NKVD. In 1945, the Orchestra was honored to play at the meeting of the heads of states at the Yalta Conference. From 1947 to 1992, the name of the Orchestra was the Orchestra of the 236th Regiment of the 36th Convoy Division of Internal Troops of the NKVD, MGB and MVD. Since 1992, it bore the name of the Orchestra of the Headquarters of the Moscow District of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. In 2008, it was renamed to the Orchestra of the Headquarters of the Central Regional Command of the Interior Ministry Troops of Russia, and in 2016, the Orchestra of the Headquarters of the Central District of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation. The Orchestra team annually takes part in the Victory Parade on Red Square and other state and public events. Currently, the Orchestra successfully continues to build on the glorious traditions of Russian spiritual and pop music, demonstrating high performance skills, professionalism and diligence, thereby enhancing the authority of the Russian National Guard troops.

The postcard provides images of the Orchestra members and the Main Cathedral of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation - the Patriarchal Cathedral in honor of the Resurrection of Christ, as well as the emblem of the military orchestra service. The Print Run is 1.4 thousand cards. The postcard was put into postal circulation and went on sale in post offices throughout the country and the Collectioner show room chain.
