The event was attended by Leonid Mikhelson, the Chairman of the Management Board of PJSC NOVATEK; Igor Kolesnikov, the Director General of Yamal LNG; and Artem Adibekov, the Director General of JSC Marka.
Yamal LNG is a Russian natural gas extraction, liquefaction and liquefied natural gas (LNG) supply facility located on the Yamal Peninsula. It consists of an LNG production plant based on the Yuzhno-Tambeyskoye gas condensate field and the Sabetta seaport for loading products onto LNG tankers. In 2017, liquefied natural gas production was launched on the first production line. Today, the plant is one of the largest liquefied natural gas production facilities in Russia. In 2021, Yamal LNG shipped its fiftieth million tons of LNG.
The illustrated stamped envelope features the LNG production plant in the village of Sabetta of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District. The print Run is 500 thousand envelopes.
On November 7, 2022, the illustrated stamped envelope went on sale in post offices throughout the country and the Collectioner show room chain.
