The State Valuable Postal Matter Commission under the Ministry of Digital Technology, Communication and Mass Media of Russia took a decision to issue in 2022 10 postage stamps dedicated to the participants of the special military operation in the Heroes of the Russian Federation series. It is intended to put them into postal circulation on December 9, on the Day of Heroes of the Fatherland.
We also approved two New Year postage stamps based on the results of the All-Russian Drawing Competition. The first drawing with the image of a New Year hut was chosen by the jury, and the second one, featuring a hare in a winter forest, won the audience choice award.
Two postage stamps in the Sports series devoted to figure skating and football are rescheduled for January 2023.
