On November 11, a ceremony took place of special cancellation of the state valuable postal matter dedicated to outstanding figures of the State Secret Protection Service of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation

The event was attended by Lieutenant General Yury Kuznetsov, the Chief of the 8th Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation; Major General Igor Shpyrnya, the Commandant of the Krasnodar Higher Military Orders of Zhukov and October Revolution Red Banner School named after Army General S.M. Shtemenko; and Artem Adibekov, the Director General of JSC Marka.

Peter Belyusov stood at the origins of the current 8th Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation; he personally participated in designing and constructing of the first samples of encryption equipment. During the Great Patriotic War, a reliable transmission of official information of the Supreme High Command contributed to the success of all major operations of the Soviet troops. The postage stamp features the portrait of Peter Belyusov against the building of the People's Commissariat of Defense of the USSR. The postage stamp was put into postal circulation on June 15, 2022, in the quantity of 120.000 copies.

Alexander Ezhov was the first Commandant of the Krasnodar Military Academy. He headed the development of unique curricula and training methods of cipher communication specialists, which are still in use today. The postcard provides a portrait of Alexander Ezhov on the background of a code message and an encryption machine. The postcard was put into postal circulation on June 6, 2022, in the quantity of 5.700 copies.

The significant contribution of these eminent personalities in the establishment and development of the State Secret Protection Service of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and in the history of military science will be put since this day in the history of philately of the Russian Federation.
