On October 27, a ceremony took place of special cancellation of a stamp dedicated to the Mustai Karim cruise liner

The event was attended by Timerbulat Karimov, the Chairman of the Council of Plyos City Settlement and the founder of the Mustai Karim Foundation; Rishat Bagautdinov, the Director General of Vodokhod LLC; Viktor Olersky, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vodokhod LLC; and Artem Adibekov, the Director General of JSC Marka.

Cruise liner Mustai Karim is the first full-size cruise motor ship built over 60 years in the USSR and modern Russia; it is a passenger four-decker of the river-sea class. It was floated out in 2019 timed to coincide with the 100th Anniversary of famous Bashkir poet, writer and play writer Mustai Karim. The liner is in use in the Volga-Neva basin with coastal access to the adjacent seas. The ship was designed according to the floating hotel principle and corresponds to the level of a five-star hotel.

The postage stamp was issued within the framework of the Maritime Fleet of Russia series. The stamp provides an image of the Mustai Karim cruise liner against the backdrop of a picturesque riverscape. The Print Run is 120 thousand stamps.

On September 9, the postage stamp was put into postal circulation and went on sale in post offices throughout the country and the Collectioner show room chain.

Traditionally, issues of the state valuable postage matter of the Russian Federation are timed to landmark historical events, as well as are dedicated to outstanding personalities, nation-wide projects and major backbone enterprises of the Russian economy.
