The ceremony took place at the Exhibition of National Economic Achievements (VDNKh) in Moscow. The event was attended by Igor Korneev, the Chairman of the Board of the Moscow Branch of the Union of Russian Pensioners; Vladimir Platonov, the President of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Artem Adibekov, the Director General of JSC Marka; and Tatiana Anisimova, the Deputy Director General of JSC VDNKh.
From Aug. 26 to Aug. 28, the First Moscow International Festival of Pensioners was held at the Exhibition of National Economic Achievements (VDNKh). The chief organizers were the Moscow Branch of the Union of Russian Pensioners, the Pension Fund of Russia, the Moscow Longevity Mayor's project, the Association for Financial Literacy Improvement and others. The festival aims to present the best Moscow and international experience in elderly people support, to discuss various social support measures and outstanding practices, to provide acquaintance and strengthening of personal ties between pensioners from different countries.
The illustrated stamped envelope provides an image of the main entrance to VDNKh in Moscow and the logo of the Moscow International Festival of Pensioners. The Print Run of the stamped envelope is 500 thousand items.
