On August 25, stamps dedicated to Izhevsk, Magadan, Omsk, Saratov, Ufa, and Yaroslavl were put into postal circulation in the Cities of Labor Valor series



A City of Labor Valor is an honorary title of the Russian Federation, instituted by the Federal Law of March 1, 2020 “in order to commemorate the feat of home front workers during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945”. It is granted to the cities of the Russian Federation, whose residents "made a significant contribution to the achievement of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 by providing uninterrupted production of military and civilian products at industrial enterprises, located in the city, and demonstrated massive labor heroism and selflessness”.

The postage stamps provide images of:
— monument to the Gunsmiths of Udmurtia, Heroes of the Labor Front of the Great Patriotic War in Izhevsk
;
— monument the Knot of Memory in Magadan (sculptor V. Roldugin and architect N. Lushik);
— monument to Omsk Home Front Workers of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 in Omsk (sculptor S. Noryshev, architect I. Vakhitov);
— monument to Heroes of the Front and Rear in Saratov (architect P. Voys);
— monument to Home Front Workers in Ufa (sculptor A. Kovalchuk);
— monument to the Ya-12 artillery tractor in Yaroslavl.

In addition to the issue of the postage stamps, JSC Marka produced First Day Covers and special cancels for Moscow, Izhevsk, Magadan, Omsk, Saratov, Ufa, and Yaroslavl.
