On July 28, 2022, an exhibition of Artem Adibekov, painter, the Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Arts, Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Director General of JSC Marka opened in the Armenia Exhibition Hall of VDNKh.
Every year the Publishing House issues more than 120 subjects of postage stamps, and more than 300 subjects of stamped envelopes and postcards. With the view of strengthening international cooperation and developing philately, joint stamp issues are arranged with different countries with a single consensual theme.
In the framework of the event, presentation was held of postage stamps of joint issue between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia on theme Architecture, dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations and the 25th Anniversary of the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance between the two countries.
The event was attended by Arsen Arakelyan, the Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in the Russian Federation; Dmitry Demkin, a representative of the 4th Department of CIS countries of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the RF; and Aram Abramyan, a member of the Board of the Union of Armenians of Russia All-Russian Public Organization.
The Russian postage stamps feature the Holy Cross Church in Samara and the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Vanadzor. The postage stamps will go into postal circulation on August 30 with the Print Run of 80,000 copies of each stamp.
Artem Adibekov's exhibition will last in the Armenia Exhibition Hall of VDNKh until August 28, 2022.
