On June 29, a stamp dedicated to the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum was put into postal circulation



The St. Petersburg International Legal Forum is an annual business event in the field of jurisprudence instituted in 2011 on the initiative of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation and with the support of the President of the Russian Federation.

The Forum is a unique platform for dialogue of the legal topical issues in the context of global social and economic challenges. The Forum is annually attended by top officials of Russia and foreign countries, leading global experts in the field of economics, law and international relations, heads of legal departments of the world's largest companies, representatives of the international law-enforcement community.

The Forum asserts its mission as follows: improvement of the interaction of legal systems and elaboration of uniform approaches to the solution of problems of law development in a globalized world; modernization of the Russian law, taking into account the best practices of foreign rule-making and law enforcement, bringing Russian legislation into conformity with international standards in the field of protection of rights and interests of all parties of legal relations (including businessmen, foreign investors, copyright holders, etc.); promotion of modern legal science and legal education in Russia and worldwide.

The 10th St. Petersburg International Legal Forum will be held from June 29 to July 1, 2022, in St. Petersburg.

The postage stamp features the symbols of the 10th St. Petersburg International Legal Forum and the Kazan Cathedral in St. Petersburg.

In addition to the issue of the postal block, JSC Marka produced First Day Covers and special cancels for Moscow and St. Petersburg.
